We are looking for the power of you as our new Factory Quality Manager of our Zoégas Coffee Factory in Helsingborg!

What's it like to work here?

As our Quality Manager, you are the guardian of food safety, quality and compliance at the factory providing leadership and support to accomplish this. In the role, you will be part of the Factory Leadership Team and partnering with other functions to ensure trust and collaboration regarding our ways of working. You will also be challenging other functions to drive and ensure first time right, product defect elimination, proper risk management & risk-based decision making and continuous improvements. You will, together with your team of quality professional, support product innovation and renovation.

This role is located at our factory in Helsingborg, you will lead the factory quality team and report to the Factory Manager, Rickard Lindström.

Your role

You take on a key role at our factory and your responsibilities include:

  • Take on a leadership position to act as catalyst and pathfinder in partnering with other functions to ensure trust and consumer preference improvements by appropriate actions and resources
  • Engage yourself in our innovation and renovation programs to ensure our brand, product and processes meet expectations and complies with internal standards
  • Challenge and evaluate other functions to drive and ensure first time right, product defect elimination, proper risk management & risk-based decision making and continuous improvement
  • Being the guardian of food safety, product quality and compliance at the factory providing leadership and support in achieving the business objectives
  • Develop autonomy, empower and engage the factory to become a high performing organization that drives standards and continuous improvement with the aim to be best in class
  • Ensure that products are released on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Managing complexity with several stakeholder within the market, coffee category, zone and globally

Who are you?

To succeed in this role we believe that you are a leader with a passion to develop people and processes and implement new, improved ways of working. We also think that you have a strong ability to connect with different people across the whole organization. Furthermore, you need to be structured, detail oriented and have an analytical mindset. Lastly – you LOVE coffee! 

We believe that you also have:

  • University degree within microbiology, chemistry or food science or similar knowledge from working experience
  • Demonstrated capability to lead a group of experienced professionals
  • Management exposure in a factory is preferred
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams and different initiatives.

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage Quality- and Food-safety systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP);
  • Knowledge of regulatory and GMP compliance requirements;
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques and quality toolkit
  • Must be proficient with PC programs, i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP Knowledge desirable
  • Fluency in English
